Go beyond the basics of aesthetics by learning the skills and techniques needed to perform skin care services in medical settings. This program provides training in advanced skin treatments like chemical peels, microdermabrasion and various laser treatments. Train to work in plastic surgery, dermatology, medical spas and other medical environments.
The minimum required course grades and cumulative grade point average (GPA) for students admitted to this program, under this catalog are:

This WCTC program prepares students to obtain the required licensure to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin. The College does not guarantee its curriculum matches the requirements for preparation, examinations, or licensure for other states.
Program Outcomes
- Perform chemical services up to medium depth peel in medical and spa settings.
- Perform advanced level, face and body aesthetic treatments in medical and spa settings.
- Apply business practices for industry success.
- Perform electrotherapy techniques in medical and spa settings.
- Develop client treatment plans.
- Perform IPL, and Class 2 laser treatments, under physician supervision in medical and spa settings.
- Develop ethical therapeutic relationships with clients/patients.
