Paramedics provide advanced-level care during medical emergencies. Their quick response and competent care may mean the difference between life and death for those who are injured, wounded or sick. In the degree program, learn to manage emergency patient care and treatment by performing comprehensive patient assessments, provide advanced cardiac life support, administer medications and perform interventions.
This program is for those who have already completed paramedic technical/core courses. For core paramedic courses and earning your National Registry/State License, please access the Paramedic Technician Technical Diploma program.
The minimum required course grades and program grade point average (GPA) for students under this catalog are:
Core Courses = C
General Studies Courses = C-
Program GPA = 2.0

This WCTC program prepares students to obtain the required licensure to be employed/practice in the state of Wisconsin. The College does not guarantee its curriculum matches the requirements for preparation, examinations, or licensure for other states.
